When patient information is submitted to a cloud AI service, it is transmitted to and processed by that provider's infrastructure — creating a data handling pattern that many providers want to avoid.
Local AI runs on hardware you own and control. Patient data is processed locally. Nothing is transmitted to third-party AI providers during inference. The data handling model is fundamentally different from cloud AI.
Whether your specific local AI deployment meets your regulatory requirements — and which BAAs, if any, are needed — is a determination for your compliance counsel, not us. We configure tools for privacy; your team determines compliance.
